Rotation Period of Asteroid (454) Mathesis

The rotation period of an asteroid can be determined by measuring how its brightness varies with time and constructing a chart called a light curve. Two new light curves for (454) Mathesis are presented. The observed light curves are broadly consistent with previous measurements of the asteroid's period and also exclude the possibility of an extremely short rotation period.
