Overview

The MIT Society of Physics Students (SPS) is pleased to host its fourth annual student symposium, taking place during CPW 2012. Conducted as a poster session, this event will offer MIT undergraduates the opportunity to showcase their physics research and practice presenting scientific posters. The symposium will be open to the entire MIT community (plus the hordes of eager prefrosh); we encourage all interested parties to attend. Food will be served, and prizes will be awarded to the top three posters.

Join us for SPSS 2012!

Stop by to see what undergrad physics research is like, what's going on in course 8 labs, and cheer on your friends! We'll also have keynote speeches by Professors David Kaiser and Allan Adams!

We're excited to have people participate in this event, so please join us! You can present UROP work, senior theses, summer research (done here or elsewhere), or even your favorite Junior Lab experiment!

Don't worry if your research project is still a work in progress, you can (and should) still participate with what you have so far. This is a great opportunity to develop skills that you'll need throughout your career and a chance to take home a prize and glory!
